The studios of A Cerâmica are located in green Central Portugal on the edge of the village of Pousadouros. A small village that houses a café, a single shop, and especially a lot of friendly people.
The immediate vicinity lends itself to beautiful walks.
There is a two kilometre walk to the nearest river, for example. You can have a swim and enjoy the sunshine. There are two restaurants nearby.
Further down you’ll find the town of Arganil, with plenty of shops, restaurants, banks and supermarkets.
There are countless beautiful villages and towns in the wider area – Coja, Avô, Benfeita, Piodão to name a few.
Many of these places also host weekly markets.
For those who’d like to stay in Portugal for longer, historical places like Coïmbra, Viseu and of course the distinctive landscape of the Serra da Estrella should not go unmentioned.
Finally, Figueira da Foz, a seaside resort on the Atlantic Ocean, and the small coastal towns to the north and south of it, lend themselves to a wonderful day at the beach (bring sunscreen).
